Library

The Black Resource Center is committed to our pillars of Scholarship, Leadership, and Community. Our in-house lending library is one of the many ways we support these pillars.

The Black Resource Center's in-house lending library is available to students, staff, and faculty. Our constantly-growing collection of films and books of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, have a focus on gender, race, sexuality, ability, class, religion, and much more. In addition, we have a collection of study guides in select courses from past students who have excelled in that course. The library also provides an opportunity for people to take advantage of textbooks in subjects ranging from Organic Chemistry to Clinical Psychology to MCAT prep.

All members of the UCSD community are welcome to register for and borrow books from the library. For more information about how to register and view our searchable database of library holdings, please visit the Black Resource Center Online Library Database. We welcome your book recommendations, as well as book donations.  Please contact brc@ucsd with comments and/or questions about our library.
